I've just arrived in Rio,Brazil. I got to say what a site to see. Right away i can tell that culture plays a big role in their society. The streets are fulled with music and dancers all around, there are children playing football on the streets. I'm currently taking the bus to my hotel. I will be staying at JW Marriott Hotel Rio de Janeiro. Apparently JW Marriott Hotel Rio de Janeiro is one of the premier Copacabana hotels in Brazil.
I just arrived at my hotel, its 9:00pm and I'm exhausted from all the airplane and bus traveling. I think i will just hit he hay and start my adventure tomorrow.
It's 9:00 am and i just woke up, and I'm so hungry. I decided to eat a omelet with green peppers, onions, red peppers, pineapples, and a ton of cheese. I gotta say it is DELICIOUS. I'm also eating pancakes and some amazing orange juice. I decided to take a boat tour for 1 day around the Pantanal. The name "Pantanal" comes from the Portuguese word pântano, meaning wetland, bog, swamp or marsh, its the worlds largest wetland of animals and insects and also its the most ecological place in the world. The instructure said that at night we can take a small boat out to see the night animals around the river sides. There are so many wild animals to spot, from caymans to captivators, king fisher birds or piranhas. This is just a amazing site to see in person. According to the instructor the Pantanal ecosystem is also thought to be home to 1000 bird species, 400 fish species, 300 mammalian species, 480 reptile species and over 9000 different subspecies of invertebrates. i wish i could stay longer but sadly I need to head back to the Hotel to leave tomorrow morning to my next destination, which is GUYANA!!
